Something fun is happening tonight!
I am meeting the following blogging friends: Mimi at He & Me + 3, Miti at Pieces of Me, CC at His Heart, Liz at Tidbits from Liz, Tara at Keeping up with the Kellys, and Mel at A Voice for Moms!
Have I forgotten anyone? I just know I am! I thought there would be 8 of us. Maybe I’m wrong. Anyway … I’m sure pictures will follow!!!
Just by chance, Mel and I walked into the same building the other day at the same time! We both live in the same area but have never met. Was that a God-thing or what? Mel had no idea I was so tall and I had no idea she was so tiny. It is funny how we perceive people from their pictures.
This will really be fun! I’m looking forward to meeting these sweet women! Yay! And it means an adult night out for me. Woo hoo! I won’t have to escort anyone to the bathroom (well, at least I hope I don’t – ha), and I can eat as slow as I want.
I hope it is okay for me to wear shorts — because folks — IT IS SO HOT HERE!!!! Poor Mimi. I don’t know what the temperature was like when she left Michigan, but it is nasty here in NC right now.

Well, depending on where in Michigan, I'd say she might have some warm temps. Here in southern Indiana it's blasting hot especially since we have high humidity. It's been low 90s and high 80s lately. I hear it's been low humidity but that is suppose to rise again. Yuk…like swimming in the air.

I can't wait to hear all about it. And don't forget to take lots of pictures. It's hot here in Phoenix too. And guess what? My air conditioning went out upstairs where Greg and I work all day on our computers. It's almost 8 at night and the repairman still hasn't shown up!!!!
