I had no idea what to title this post, then I looked outside and realized it was raining huge heavy drops outside.

Many of you know that I attended the funeral of a baby this morning. Thankfully the rain held off until it was over. I want to share my experience there, but it was just too private of a moment to reveal for the entire world to read. It wasn’t my son, or my family — so I really have no right.

Let me just say that the young couple who just buried their son REALLY needs your prayers. I know many of you are already praying. God have mercy and help them today and each new day they face without their son.

Psalm 3:3
But You, O LORD, are a shield for [Lou and Lewis], [their] glory and the One who lifts up [their] head[s].

I pray that God will hold this couple together and give this mother strength to face tomorrow.

Isaiah 61:3
To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.

Isaiah 60:20
Your sun shall no longer go down, Nor shall your moon withdraw itself; For the LORD will be your everlasting light, And the days of your mourning shall be ended.

Thank you for praying for this couple. God bless you all.
