Today I’m linking with the Internet Cafe to share God’s Word with a photo.
After running around so much, this picture of our bedroom is wooing me …
Proverbs 3:24
When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
I am yearning to crawl into this bed right now. It has been a long week (oh wait, it is only Tuesday night – ha). Yes, it has seemed to be a very long week, but even as I type this – my Mom and Dad are spending the night together under the same roof for the first time since the beginning of June. I am grateful and I pray they will experience sweet sleep tonight! I know I will!
Have a blessed Wednesday everyone!
Be sure to hop over to the Internet Cafe for another serving of God’s Word:
Blessings Beth, What a beautiful bed and I agree so inviting to a sweet sleep and one you deserve. I pray your sleep brings rest to you after all the WAITING you’ve been doing trying to get everything arranged just right for your precious mom and dad.
Being home finally for your mom with your dad is a wait that she has longed for too. May everyone have a peaceful and restful (uneventful) sleep. A wonderful Proverb to hold on to… and may your dreams be just as sweet! Here is a Psalm for you (and them):
Psa 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
Sweet tight and may God hold you all in His hands giving you strength and comfort for the days ahead
Peace and love,
Peggy
Who knows what I meant with “Sweep tight”… I thought maybe “sleep… but tight? Anywhoo, sleep well… looks like I need sleep too! Sorry about the goof up…
LOL … you were thinking of sweet sleep. I never have thought about what sleep tight means, but I will just believe that God is holding me tight. Right? Bless you dear Peggy! <3
Sweet dreams my friend. So thankful your mom is home!
Thank you Barbie! I am too! I slept so well last night. I crashed! Bless you friend!
Rejoicing along with you.
Praying your night’s rest was peaceful and restful.
Happy WFW…
Thank you Stefanie! I did have a wonderful night’s sleep! <3
Hi Beth:
Wonderful news about your parents! (And that bed looks inviting even though I recently awakened.)
Enjoy that rest and sweet sleep.
Thank you Joan. I did enjoy sweet sleep last night! It was wonderful. :o) Have a blessed day!
Beth, so glad that your parents were able to sleep under the same roof together…thankful to the Lord.
Beautiful photo and one of my favorite Scriptures that I pray over myself and others almost nightly.
Love and blessings to you and your family!
Thank you Lisa. I’m glad she is home. I pray once she is settled things will go smoothly. Bless you friend!
I need to go really read that verse and the few around it. For whatever reason the second I lie down is when all of my fears hit me and I wind up lying in bed until 2am…NOT asleep and NOT at peace. What a wonderful reminder.
Oh Sheri. Be sure and deal with the fear as well. Bind it in the Name of Jesus and focus on the Word. (((hugs))) I am going to email you.
You deserve some sweet rest, and I hope you got some!
Thanks Hope. <3
Ah sleep …if only! I’m not getting much of that lately it seems.
But Beth, so glad to read this news. I’ve not had time to read all the posts but hope to catch up, especially to learn more about what’s been happening with your mom.
Sending you a hug today,
Debbie
Thanks friend. I am glad to have my Mom back home. I pray you get some sweet sleep Debbie! Love <3
Amen! One of my favorites when I can’t sleep!! Thank you for sharing.
I love that we have this promise.
I am going through a phase of life where sleep is not coming easily for me…what a great verse. Thank you.
I pray that will change Alida.
I love that, Beth, and I surely do need it. Your bedroom is very pretty. Praying for your parents. Hugs, Cathy
Thanks Cathy. I appreciate your prayers! <3
