GOD IS GOOD!  I often hear this comment when someone receives a good report.
What if the report wasn’t good?  Isn’t God STILL good?

Twelve years ago I was a faithful intercessor.  I covered my family in prayer every day.  It was during that time that I found out my precious Daddy was diagnosed with prostate cancer.  Not only did the report show he had cancer, but it had metastasized to his spine.  The doctors gave him three years to live.
Needless to say I was SHOCKED!  I had covered him in prayer.  What had happened?  It rocked my foundation for sure.  Was God STILL good?
I remember being on my face before the altar crying — shocked — stunned.

Did I serve God for some type of “insurance” or something?  I had to repent.  I did repent!
God is good even when we are in the lowest of valleys.
God is good when we are at the end of our rope.
God is good when there isn’t any money left at the end of the month.

Whatever we go through in this life, we can always believe God’s word (that is LIVING AND ACTIVE)!  Satan is the one who comes to steal, kill, and destroy.  God isn’t to blame.

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

Genesis 50:20a
You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good …

Isaiah 54:16-17
See, it is I who created the blacksmith
who fans the coals into flame
and forges a weapon fit for its work.
And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc;
no weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
and this is their vindication from Me,”
            declares the LORD.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Ephesians 2:3-5
All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,  made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

Micah 7:18
Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.

The God of all creation wants a relationship with us?  AMAZING!  He is so in tune with you that He even knows the number of hairs on your head!

Luke 12:6-7
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

Is God good?
YES!
