Well my friends, I received the new bedspread in the mail. If you didn’t see my post about this bedspread, click HERE.
Here are my new accent pillows to add a touch of color. I thought they looked cool for summer.
So, here is the problem. I needed a new bed skirt. Argh. I had the bright idea of ordering a bed skirt that would match the accent pillows. Well, the skirt was too dark. It reminded me of hospital scrub blue. lol
Then I decided to try a white bed skirt, but it is a tad too short. SCREAM. Do you know how hard it is to put on a bed skirt by yourself?
Trust me, this battle is not over! I want to find a skirt with the same color blue as these beautiful accent pillows. The hunt IS ON. Once my new matching night stands (part of this makeover) are delivered, the quilt rack will find a new home — somewhere behind the door.
Please don’t tell me you liked the blue better (ha) because it is too much trouble to switch back. The white looks fine and will remain UNLESS I find the a blue/gray skirt. :o)

Love those pillows and cushions! They are a lovely shade of blue. I think the white bed skirt looks nice but if you can find one in the same shade of blue then I am sure it will look lovely.

No I will not tell you the hospital skirt,,I mean that blue looks good, LOL. I actually LOVE the white bedskirt. It doesn't look 'short' really. The room is beauitful Beth..just love it. I'm off yard saling. I will try to find you a skirt and come over. Put those cows away first or I'm not coming,,LOL

I don't think the white one is too short either, however, it would be nice to get the blue/gray like you want for contrast purposes.

You're right…the blue looks like scrubs, but I think the white looks good. However, if you're not satisfied with it, it's always fun to have something for which to shop! Love that you all have a fireplace in your room. Very nice! Have a good weekend!
Yup, no blue. White is not too short. How about no bed skirt? (tuck the bed skirt up and see) Unless you hide/store stuff under there.

The second choice looks definitively better! Good luck in your search! I think taking the pillows to the fabric shops with you, is the best bet.

The accent pillows are lovely! I LOVE the white bed skirt, and it does not look to short. It looks clean and elegant.
You said your house is not large, but boy your bedroom looks large to me. My room is only big enough for a queen bed, a night stand and a dresser.
