When I think of the word WIDE, I think of this scripture:

Matthew 7:13:14
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

I recently made a picture of that scripture that I added to this post, so that is why it is on my heart.  WIDE is the area that the enemy would have us walk.   Many in the world are headed down that easy area.  Isn’t it easier to go with the flow?   But then there is a narrow road, a small gate to enter.

Each season of my adult life has been like a stepping stone to point me in the direction God has for me.  The stones have created a winding path that is narrow.  This path only fits my feet and the gait of my walk.    God in His mysterious ways knew that each trial would gently move me along the stones, placing new ones under my feet with each step of faith that I took.

Do you see this in your own life too?

I want to find the narrow way, the winding path that was designed only for me.  I don’t want to venture off into the wide, broad road.

Father, please keep me headed in the right direction.  I never want to be luke-warm or indifferent.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
