Today is a BIG day for my parents.

Another “new” norm for them.

My Mom left her home via ambulance in the beginning of June.  Today, she will return home.   I am thankful that she will see her home again.  She didn’t think she would, and after last week — I didn’t think she would either.

This is a post of thanksgiving!

Psalm 69:30
I will praise God’s name in song and glorify Him with thanksgiving.

In the midst of a difficult season, God’s Hand has directed my steps.  He has placed order in the chaos and steadied the bow of the boat.

We have had to rely on the kindness of strangers with my Mom.  She was helpless in a strange place and God protected her.   We had to trust that strangers would have mercy and compassion with her.   For the most-part, I think they did.

Psalm 100:4
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.

I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I know that God will be with us.  I appreciate all of your prayers for my family.  Thank you!

Have a blessed Monday everyone and join some other great Monday posts:
