Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

I took this picture the other day and it made me think of this scripture.

It is my heart’s desire to use God’s Word as my compass.   I want His Word and His Spirit to direct my decisions (though I’m sure I miss the mark sometimes).

I say this scripture every day as I pray the full armor to be placed on me, my husband, and our daughter.  I name each piece and how each piece will protect us.  For example:  When I pray that our feet will be shod in the gospel of peace, I thank God that His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light for our paths.
