We just took a very short trip to the mountains, but it allowed me to read (uninterrupted) while my husband drove (yay!). Finally, I was able to pick up Robin Bertram’s book again: Shadows Among Us ~ Discovering the Path to Spiritual Liberation & wholeness.
May I share some points that I found interesting?
Robin shared the Lord’s prayer from Matthew 6:9-13
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be Your name,Your kingdom come,Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.Give us today our daily bread.And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
One of the MANY points that Robin shared that REALLY struck a chord is in bold below. Her definition of deliverance is: The process by which an individual is freed from any form of darkness, oppression, bondage, habitual sin, or unclean spirits in which they are entangled. It is a means of being set free through the understanding of the written Word of God and the infallibility of that Word. It is the process by which the lies of the devil are replaced with the truth of God’s Word. Hence, freedom occurs because strongholds are demolished, demons must flee in the name of Jesus, legal rights of the enemy are taken back, and truth becomes a constant in an individual’s life; not in theory, but in application (pages 92 & 93).
2 Corinthians 10:4-6The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.
Are you coming into agreement with thoughts that don’t line up with the Word of God?
If you are uncertain, ask the Holy Spirit to show you. None of us want to be in agreement with satan.

Beth some good observations there especially about satan planting lies.. I know too well about strong holds.
Beth, do not stop! The enemy would love to have you shrink back. But you are brought to light on your blog recently something that many others wouldn't have the courage to do. I know many are walking more liberated today because of your obedience.
