I LOVE THE MEN IN MY LIFE!
I’ll start with my Daddy.

Ephesians 6:1
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

He was the one I would run to when I was upset.  He was the one who always took time to play with me.  He was the one I would follow around.  If he was on the tractor, I was on the tractor with him.  If he was carrying wood, I was helping him.
We spent many days in the woods.
Looking back and being a parent myself — I’m sure he would have liked to have been ALONE, but he never complained.

I have never heard my Daddy raise his voice.  And when he told me to do something, I didn’t back-talk him.  He had my respect.
I am thankful that my parents have remained married all of these years.  How many kids can say that these days?  (NO condemnation meant in that statement, please don’t receive any.)
I have been blessed to have my Daddy.  I love you Daddy!

Colossians 3:21
Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.

My husband

He is a great Daddy to our little girl.  He wrestles in the floor with her almost every night and loves to pop in and check on her when she is in the pool.  He is the one who will most likely sob when she starts Kindergarten (Mommy will have to be strong).  I know this because he was a mess during orientation.  He was also a mess when she started preschool.  Who had the picture with her at the door?  DADDY!

I am grateful for the Dad that he is being for our daughter.  I am thankful for who he is as a husband too.
I married someone who reminded me of my Daddy.  He is a great story teller, knows how to plant gardens, live a country life, make me laugh, work on machinery (the list could go on and on) — just like my Daddy.
I love you Honey!

Colossians 3:20
Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
ABBA Father
Psalm 68:4
Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name YAH, And rejoice before Him.
I can’t talk about Fathers without mentioning my heavenly Father.
Without Him I’d be lost, hopeless, and most likely dead.  He is my Protector, Deliverer, Hope, Peace, Rock, Shield, and Strong Tower.
I don’t know how I was so blessed to be chosen by Him.
He rescued an insecure, shy, fearful child who had grown into an insecure, shy, fearful woman.  No longer do I wear chains.

He set me free!

I love You Father God!
Happy Father’s Day to all of the Dad’s out there!  You have a very important job!  Your children will relate to their heavenly Father according to their relationship with you.

Ephesians 6:4
And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
