I love waking with praises on my lips!
For days now I have awakened with a praise song swirling through my mind.
What a wonderful way to start my day!
Psalm 34:1
I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
I will seek You in the morning
And I will learn to walk in Your ways
And Step by step You’ll lead me
And I will follow You all of my days
Yes Lord! I will follow You all of my days. I can’t help but love You. You woo me and I’m drawn. I can’t help myself but be in love with my Savior.
I know that my family doesn’t understand the relationship I have with the Lord. I’m not “holier than thou” — I’m so far from perfect it isn’t funny, BUT I know what it is like to be a slave to sin — a slave to fear. Only a person who has been a slave can truly appreciate FREEDOM. I know how doors are opened because I’ve spent years working through things to CLOSE them.
When we take a stand, it does separate us from the world. It does make us seem like we are standing on the outside looking in sometimes. I can’t help myself though. Even as I’m typing this, the lyrics to a song I love are running through my heart.
We often sing this song “You’ll Come” at our church. Please take a moment to listen to the words. This part of the song is particularly powerful: CHAINS BE BROKEN! LIVES BE HEALED! EYES BE OPENED! CHRIST IS REVEALED!

Oh Beth..dont you just love it when you wake up with a song of praise already going through your mind.. I did that yesterday.. And I loved it,, but then it kinda ticked Satan off, and he ran me raged all day yesterday. Just had a bad day yesterday.. I teased the girls in bible study. told them that i had had a bad day and just wanted to smack some body.. lol and they just all backed up in their chairs and then laughted..
Hoping today is better,,
I dont like it when i give Satan that much control over my feelings.. Say a prayer for me..
going through a lot in life right now..

I love to wake up like this. I have my alarm set to Christian radio and sometimes a great song like this wakes me up but sometimes it's the guys talking about finances. Yuk.
