Ok, so this is kind of funny, but at the same time I’m like “huh”? I guess I live in the blog world too much.

In blog land, I deal with a bunch of Sistah’s with a few brothers sprinkled here and there. We put it out there for all to read. Isn’t that what writers do? I am an avid journaler (is that a word?) and have been since I was in middle school.

Stage right: In walks Twitter. Well, that wasn’t a problem because I didn’t advertise my blog on Twitter. BUT THEN COMES BLOGFROG (It is all your fault Tara – lol — teasing) and THEN TWEETDECK!!! Well, with Tweetdeck I can carry on conversations. Love it!

However, I didn’t consider those who actually have my tweets sent to their phones. LOL Seriously — there is NO WAY I’d have my phone tweeting all day. Of course, if someone doesn’t follow a blogger or marketer then they are probably safe. Note to self: There are people in my life who don’t blog and don’t understand this part of the world.

So here is where I feel kind of bad and yet … strange. I tweeted about my blog post concerning my Spanx find. I got a call from my friend whose husband follows me on Twitter. He was concerned about my Tweets and felt that maybe he should stop following me. I love this couple. They are close to us and I wouldn’t want to freak them out in any way.

It never occurred to me in a MILLION years that a brother from church (lol & waaaa) would be getting a tweet on his phone about my undergarments. For cryin’ in the rain! Now I wonder if my pastor’s got that blog post too!??! And of course I tweeted about it probably 5 or 6 times — trying to get blog hits! So dear pastors and guy-friends. If you were offended I am sincerely sorry.

Quite an interesting feeling I have inside.

I’m sure I bug the mess out of people who have my tweets going to their phones! That is the fun of Tweetdeck — chatting with others. Oh man. Why can’t I just have fun? LOL Now I’m not going to feel free to chat on there anymore. :-/
