Recently the Lord sent a message to me: He was jealous of my time and wanted me to start meeting with Him each morning.
Off and on through the years that has been my practice, but then life takes over. I have recommitted to having this early morning sunrise time with my Father and I look forward to meeting with Him.
Psalm 143:8
Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning, for on You do I lean and in You do I trust. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my inner self to You.Psalm 5:3
In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare [a prayer, a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart].Psalm 59:16
But I will sing of Your mighty strength and power; yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy and loving-kindness in the morning; for You have been to me a defense (a fortress and a high tower) and a refuge in the day of my distress.
I want Him to have the beginning of each day.
I need Him!
He wants me.
He is jealous for me.
He is jealous for you too!
He wants you!

There is something special about the early mornings and that quiet time with Him. I love sunrises and there isn’t a better way to spend one that to spend with Jesus.

Mercy! What a wonderful reminder. Usually, I start my morning with Bible reading, then listen to Pastors Yousef and Begg. This morning, Pastor Begg is on at 6 so I heard him and then…scattered! I haven’t read my Bible this morning. Beth, you’re wonderful! thanks for the reminder!
