Psalm 100:2
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.

There is little I enjoy more than worshiping the Lord!

I love to study His Word and I love to sing His praises!

I am always hungry for more of God in my life and I have a hard time understanding people who don’t feel the same way.   Don’t get me wrong, I know we are all in different places in our journey — but it can be so frustrating when you want others to dig deeper and they won’t.  I know from experience that old saying is true, “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.”   True and frustrating at the same time.

I often feel sad for people who are in bondage and ask me for help.  They want help, but they want someone else to fix them.  I did too — so I understand!  When I was bound by fear, I didn’t have anyone knowledgeable in my life who could set me free.  Instead, I had to dig through the scriptures and rebuild who I was emotionally and mentally by renewing my mind.   I am who God’s Word says I am.  Nothing less!

The renewing of a person’s mind is something he must do himself with the help of the Holy Spirit.   He must choose to read the scriptures and study.   He must choose to capture his thoughts and replace them with the truth of God’s Word.

Worship

Yes, I love to worship Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit!   I love to sing God’s praises and I love to study His Word.  I love to rest in His presence!   I love to talk with Him and talk about Him with others.

Psalm 42:8
By day the Lord directs His love, at night His song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life.
