Psalm 84:2
My soul yearns, yes, even pines and is homesick for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out and sing for joy to the living God.

Amen!  I was just reading this scripture today and thought how perfectly it describes my heart’s cry.  I yearn for God’s presence.  There is no sweeter place and words fail me.

I was praying this morning for a young lady I love.  I was crying out for the things of this world to be detestable to her.  I was praying that God would show me how to reach her.  She is so full of anger and rejection that her heart has become hardened to the things of God.   She doesn’t know what she is missing.  Satan has her fooled.

How can you explain how it feels to be in God’s Presence?  How can you explain His peace?

I want to share the precious gift of Jesus with her, but she isn’t open — YET.

Psalm 84:10
For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand [anywhere else]; I would rather be a doorkeeper and stand at the threshold in the house of my God than to dwell [at ease] in the tents of wickedness.

Yes!  David had it right when he said just ONE day with the Lord is better than a thousand elsewhere!

Psalm 84:4
Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are those who dwell in Your house and Your presence; they will be singing Your praises all the day long. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

I pray you will be singing His praises all the day long! (And I pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to hover over our loved ones who don’t know Him – YET.)

Have a great day praising the Lord everyone!
