Is anyone else feeling a breakthrough? Something has changed in the spirit.

Last night I went to church and prayed with some powerful prayer warriors. One was my friend Angie (Laughter Does the Heart Good), her husband, my friend Katherine, and Linda & Lisa — two of which were in Haiti. Maybe it was the anointing coming from two who had just been supernaturally planted in the midst of a terrifying situation, yet supernaturally guided and directed. Maybe it was just being with a group of friends who are completely surrendered to the Lord. I don’t know what has happened since last night, but tonight I spent a great deal of time in God’s Word — Old Testament and New Testament.

I went to place my daughter down for the night and I picked up her bible to read her a few stories. I ended up reading several of the OT stories that I had JUST read in my bible earlier in the evening. Several stories of women who were barren, yet GOD heard their prayers and opened their wombs. Coincidence?

As my precious child began to drift off to sleep I prayed over her and all I could do was worship the Lord. I held one of her tiny hands and had my other hand raised, “Lord, You alone are worthy. I praise You and magnify Your Name.” The praises just rolled off of my lips. I prayed in the spirit and it poured like a river from my lips.

Something has broken. A cap has been removed. Hallelujah! Will you join me and worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords?

Word for yesterday:

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 20, 2010:

I am positioning you at the door of liberty. You are poised and ready to be released into greater freedom than you have experienced for a long time. All you have to do is deliberately let go of the past and everything that has held you in emotional, mental or spiritual bondage. This is a new day, which will be absolutely exhilarating both naturally and supernaturally, but you must relinquish your claim of personal injustice and all that holds your back, says the Lord.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
