IamSmall

I am one person in this town of approximately 150,000 people.

I am one person in a county of over 900,000 people.

I am one person in a state of close to 10 million people.

I am one person in the United States of America which is home to approximately 314 million.

Compared to the universe, I am barely a speck.

Small

Though one little person barely makes a sound in this world and though one person is very small compared to the majority … God knows ME.   God knows YOU.

One person may seem small, but one person can change the world.

One person can bring healing and hope to many.

One person can also bring destruction.

What will YOU do with your voice in this world?

The God who created the universe and everything ever created knows ME.   That doesn’t make me feel so small.   That makes me feel like I take up a lot of important space.

Psalm 139:13-18
For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from You
    when I was made in the secret place,
    when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
    all the days ordained for me were written in your book
    before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
    How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
    they would outnumber the grains of sand—
    when I awake, I am still with you.

How can I feel SMALL when in God’s eyes I am well-known?   I am chosen.  I am loved.

If you have given your life to Jesus, you too are chosen and well-known by Daddy God.  You are LOVED.

Be encouraged today!  You haven’t been forgotten in this big world.

Matthew 10:30
And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

I am linking Lisa-Jo Baker for her 5-Minute Friday.  She provides the prompt and we write for 5 minutes to see what comes out.  Today’s prompt is:  SMALL.   I have to admit looking up the statistics stretched out my post a little longer than 5 minutes, but not too much.   Please click on her button below:
