RecipientofGraceGod’s Great Grace …

Oh, how can I understand God’s great grace?

So many people are angry, bitter, self-entitled, on edge …

I have seen it day after day since September.

What does Father God see in our hearts?

Romans 5:20-21
Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Where sin abounded – grace abounded much more.

God’s Great Grace

God’s grace does stand out even more to me when I am walking in the flesh.   I mean — I know that I can never earn His grace.  It is freely given.  And His grace is just as tangible when I’m a stinker as when I’m feeling close to the Lord.

Roman 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

I have come across some difficult people the past two months.  God wants us to love the unlovely.   Did I do it?  Ahem, I can honestly say I have failed.   I wonder if my heart seems as ugly as the attitudes of so many I had to face this season?   I know my attitude has been less than stellar lately.  Sigh.

If I didn’t have God’s grace, I would be doomed for an eternity of punishment.  All of us would.

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God …

Do you ever ponder on God’s great grace?
