Happy 21st Anniversary to my sweet husband!

I was too lazy to scan in my portrait, so I took a picture of it (sorry).  How do like that 1989 hair folks?  (I think you can click on pics to enlarge them.)

My Boaz and I were destined to be together.  His mother and my Aunt Helen were good friends and played together.  My mother-in-law played at my grandmother’s house throughout her childhood.  My grandmother even made her clothes.

As I grew up I heard about “Betty Lou” and her son (who was close to my age), but he and I didn’t meet until I was around 14 years old.  He came to one of my youth group parties and actually met another girl there.  He and I rode home in the same vehicle, but I wasn’t interested in him nor was he interested in me (that I know of …).

A couple of years passed and when he saw me at the age of 17 we became an “item” (for all of 6 months).  We got back together when I was 20 and married at 22.
Below is a picture of us before we married.  We were at his Grandma Ada’s house.  Look at those gold necklaces.  Woo hoo!  80’s baby!

Oh dear, how do you like that top notch on my head in this next picture?  My cutie came up at the end of one of our wedding showers.  This is a horrible picture of me, but you can get a laugh out of the 80’s clothing.  And yes, I do believe my man is sporting a MEMBERS ONLY jacket.

The next two pictures were taken on our honeymoon.  The absolutely COOL thing about the next two pictures is that NOW we have a house built to the left corner of these pictures (way across the mountains).

I can hardly believe how quickly 21 years have flown by!  We have overcome so much together — by the grace of God!
I am a blessed woman.  I love you Honey!
