Proverbs 23:7
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
“Eat and drink!” he says to you,
But his heart is not with you.

The context of this scripture is about eating with a miser.  He may say “Eat and drink” but in his heart he doesn’t want to share.   But when I saw this picture of my husband looking out over the pasture, I thought of the beginning of this scripture.

There is a lot of truth concerning our thoughts.  We do tend to fall in alignment with our self-talk or thoughts about ourselves.

Yesterday Gloria Copeland posted this as her Facebook status:

I could use more work in this area myself!
