You all know I’m as transparent as they come, so here we go …

WEIGHT LOSS

Overall I feel I am handling the extra responsibility of my parents well — considering the situation.  I spend almost every day going back and forth between my Dad’s home and my Mom’s rehab.   It is my temporary “norm” right now.  As a matter of fact, this picture was taken today during my SECOND visit to my parent’s home.  (I was blessed to see my cute cousin Jane there!)   ———–>

However  (you knew that was coming …)

I have been out of control where food is concerned.  Deep sigh …

I have been gone SO MUCH during the day that I am tired at night and don’t have a healthy plan.  We all know we need healthy options around or we will grab the most convenient snack or meal.  For me — I have a hunger that doesn’t seem to be satisfied.

Yes, ONE issue is lack of time to plan and prepare healthy meals/snacks.

What is the other issue?

Matthew 4:4
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ”

I really miss quality time with the Lord!  I miss having time for worship and prayer at home.  I do pray — I pray throughout the day as I go about life, but I mean deep moments of intercession and sitting in God’s presence.  Sigh …

Since I can tell my schedule isn’t going to lighten any, I must forge ahead with a plan.  I can’t go backwards.

My friend and cousin by marriage gave me an awesome birthday present:  A lunch bag with cooling block and three bowls that fit inside.  She uses one like this to pack healthy snacks to keep with her throughout the day.  THANK YOU TRESA.  I needed this additional nudge to get back on track.

For those who are new here, I have some very HUMBLING weight loss photos in my navigation bar.  This has been a journey of weight release since June 2008.

One of these days I will completely breakthrough and walk in the freedom already provided.  Jesus has already done everything for my freedom from this issue.  (Actually from ANY issue.)

Psalm 119:45
I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out Your precepts.

I will overcome because I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength!  (Philippians 4:13)

Anyone walking with me?

God bless you all!
