reasontogetherIsaiah

This morning I had the most beautiful dream.  I was riding in a white van and I saw big beautiful white clouds dropping into a huge body of water.  The scene was very similar to this because I could see the reflection of the clouds.  The body of water must have been like glass to have seen the reflection so clearly.   The clouds in my dream were more round in size than normal stretching clouds like these.  They almost appeared to be made of snow, yet clouds.  I wish I could show you what I saw.  The site was beautiful!

When I awakened and started thinking about what I could share this morning, these scriptures began to ring in my ears:

Isaiah 1:18-19
“Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.  If you are willing and obedient you will eat the best from the land.”

Just imagine being alone in that little boat, surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation.  I could see myself there, reasoning with God.   Due to the way I was conditioned in my life, I would find the sin and the negative things I have done to point out to God — but all of my sins, though red as crimson — they are forgiven.  I have repented of them and they are cast into the sea.

Micah 7:19
You will again have compassion on us; You will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.

Perhaps you needed that reminder today.

Though your sins are red as scarlet, they will be white like wool.
