I remember the first time I ever felt God’s presence in a tangible way.
There are no words to describe how wonderful it is to feel God’s Presence!
I love Him so much. I love to worship Him and to read His Word.
He is my DELIVERER. He is my SHIELD. He is my SOUND MIND. He is my STRENGTH. He is my HOPE!
My mind has drifted back to a time when I was a prayer coordinator at my husband’s home church. That little prayer team had some awesome and powerful experiences in that little church. Many people received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Many experienced Him in new ways during that season. Some had their spiritual eyes open and saw visions. It was a sweet time.
There were only a few people in that church who understood our passion for the Lord. and I’m sure the other church members were thrilled when we left because people fear what they don’t understand. But that’s OK. Nothing against that church or the people. I believe that they love the Lord the best they know how — just as I love Him the best I know how. We are all on our own walks with Him. I will be returning to that sanctuary today for the wedding of my husband’s beautiful cousin. It is always a surreal feeling when I return to that place. It is almost like it never happened — all of the years of service there. So strange. Anyway ….
I just want MORE of Him. I am never at a place where I want to remain. I want to go deeper in understanding and move from glory to glory.
2 Corinthians 3:16-18
But whenever a person turns [in repentance] to the Lord, the veil is stripped off and taken away.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).
And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever-increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit. I want to be transformed to be more like Him each day. Don’t you?

I think that when lives are touched and changed due to a hunger for Christ – that you remember those moments forever, those people forever like family, like home. But those that are not touched, don’t grow, aren’t affected – it is as though you never knew them. I pray blessing on you as you return to a place where you grew, where Christ met a group of you and pulled you closer to Him. That growth walks where you walk, goes where you go and that is a blessing!
It’s drawing nearer to Him that we know more things of God. Thanks be to the Holy Spirit!
All of us may differ in opinions or beliefs, but one thing is for sure, He does not change and for that, I’m soooo thankful! Glory be to our good Father!
