I am sharing this because I want to clarify something.

I posted a before picture compared to my 60 day picture on another social media site and I had a friend comment with anger that people couldn’t cleanse for the rest of their lives.  I absolutely disagree with her.   I think she made that statement because of her assumptions of what a cleanse is all about.   Her comment spurred this post today.

I think the term “cleanse” is misunderstood.   Before I started Isagenix and heard the word cleanse, I envisioned someone doing a colon cleanse and having to stay close to a restroom.   I can only imagine that this person was thinking the same thing.  If so – she couldn’t have been further from the truth.   This is NOT that type of cleanse.  As a matter of fact, the name of the cleanse product with Isagenix is called Cleanse for Life.

NUTRITIONAL CLEANSING

This is what an Isagenix Cleanse is all about:

Nutritional Cleansing increases the health benefits you receive from the ancient health practice of cleansing. The herbs, vitamins and minerals that aid cleansing do two things:

A cleansed and revitalized body is stronger, resists illness better, is more efficient and performs at a higher level than one that is filled with impurities. Many people notice an ability to reach and maintain their ideal weight.

With that said, this is doable for life.  Some people drink a little bit of the Cleanse for Life daily.   I am still fairly new to detoxifying my body and I cleanse a couple of times a month which is called a deep cleanse.

During a deep cleanse I fast from food, but I fill my body with Cleanse for Life, Ionix Supreme, water, and can use other Isagenix products to regulate blood sugar, curb hunger, etc …

As Christians we are supposed to deny our flesh and fast.

Matthew 6:16-18
When you fast, stop looking sad like hypocrites. They put on sad faces to make it obvious that they’re fasting. I can guarantee this truth: That will be their only reward.  When you fast, wash your face and comb your hair.  Then your fasting won’t be obvious. Instead, it will be obvious to your Father who is with you in private. Your Father sees what you do in private. He will reward you.

Jesus said, “When you fast …”

Honestly there are a lot of Christians who have never fasted.   There are also some situations in a Christian’s life that require prayer and fasting.   The deep cleanse is basically a fast from food (that you chew), but the liquid ingested is full of nutrients.

I’m not trying to sell anyone a product.   I just wanted to explain what the term “cleanse” means with Isagenix.

As I shared a few posts back, the toxins in our bodies are stored in fat cells.  The more toxins – the more fat cells created to “protect” our bodies.    Nutritional cleansing helps our bodies remove the toxins naturally.

This is my 60 day photo.  So far I am 23 pounds down and over 50 inches smaller.  I still have a lot of weight to lose, but I feel great and am thankful!   With the corn maze in full swing, my water intake has been much lower and I haven’t cleansed like I should.  But November is coming … Yay!
