visionAs 2014 comes to an end, have your thoughts been on promises or visions unfulfilled?   I seem to end each year with “When God When?” and begin the next year with great hopes in seeing my visions come into fruition.

During this Christmas season, God has been quietly speaking to my heart about some dreams that haven’t come to pass and then Lynette Lewis confirmed those quiet whispers with a scripture she shared on Christmas Eve.

Habakkuk 2:3
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.

God definitely has an appointed time for everything in life.   Remember, our steps are ordered.

THOUGH IT TARRIES, WAIT FOR IT!

What promise are you waiting to see fulfilled?

I definitely have some heart desires that I have waited to see come to pass and now I am reminded again to WAIT on God’s perfect timing.

How many of you have been encouraged over the years to write to God in a journal?   Dr. Mark Virkler (Communion with God ministries) teaches us to journal, then write in the flow of what God is saying to our hearts.   When reading the book of Habakkuk this morning, I realized that the prophet was writing in a journal (so to speak)!  He wrote down his frustrations and asked God when and why type of questions.   God responded and Habakkuk recorded what He spoke to him.

Be encouraged to journal and record what God speaks to your heart.

Peace.

No striving.

His timing is perfect.

Can you rest in the fact that His timing is perfect?   Can you trust that He knows what is best and He has your dreams and desires in His Hand?

Rest in Him and know that though the vision tarries, it will surely come to pass.

Journal.

Share your heart’s desires with our Abba Father.   He cares!  He loves!  He hears!

Listen.   What does He have to say?

Rest in His timing.

Be encouraged!

I am praying 2015 be a year of breakthrough for each of us and that God will use us for His purposes.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
