I just awakened from a dream where I led two young men to Christ.   People were really angry at me for doing this and were after me.    It was an interesting dream to say the least.

Both young men were angry, troubled kids.  The second young man didn’t want to change, but didn’t like the way he felt inside.  I kept telling him that he didn’t have to change to come to God, but to just call out to Him.   After he asked Jesus to forgive his sins and be his Lord, his entire countenance changed.   He started to smile for the first time.   I said, “You feel different inside don’t you?”   He smiled and nodded his head.

It is that simple isn’t it?

Romans 10:8-10
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Acts 16:31
So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

1 Corinthians 15:1-5
Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Perhaps you stumbled upon this blog post today and you don’t know Jesus.  Maybe you have tried to read the Bible, but it makes absolutely no sense to you.   There is a reason:  The Bible is a supernatural book.  The Words are alive and you need God’s help to understand it.

1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

So what do you do?  Believe that Christ died for your sins and rose again on the 3rd day.   Ask God to forgive you of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart.   When you do, the Holy Spirit will come to you.

Choose this day who you will FOLLOW.  As for me and my house, we will follow and serve the Lord.

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

If you choose to follow the Lord, it will be the best decision you have ever made.   God loves you!  He has this wonderful gift waiting for you.   Yes, it is a gift — freely given.   Just receive.
