Have you missed me?

My little family and I left for Florida last Thursday and just returned home yesterday.   Guess where we went?

Yes, it is true!  We have NEVER been and finally took the big plunge!

Here is our princess meeting Cinderella for the first time.  She had a breakfast at the castle with Cinderella, Snow White, Ariele, Aurora, and Belle.  Our daughter was dressed in Rapunzel’s wedding gown.

We stayed at the Polynesian Resort and I highly recommend it!  The atmosphere was tropical and peaceful.  Another bonus was the easy access to the monorail.  We parked when we arrived and didn’t see our vehicle again until we left for North Carolina.

If you are planning a trip to Disney this year, I would love to share an application I discovered that was helpful!

It is called Disney World Magic Guide and the application looks like this (the last icon on the second row):

The app was $4.99, but worth it!   Just look at all of the information that will be in the palm of your hand!

You can click on the following information for each of Disney’s parks!

For an example, this is what you will find if you click on the map of Magic Kingdom:

That is an overview of the map as a whole, but then you can click and expand each section.  See below:

Once you get to this point, you can click on any tab and it will show you more information.   For instance, if I click on Cinderella’s Castle, this is what I will see:

I could click on “More Info” — but you get the picture.  Next, I’ll show you what you would see under “Wait Times Near Me.”  Of course, you will see the restaurants and rides that are near.  The GPS will actually point towards the location you want to find.  That features was really helpful while at Disney.  You will notice how far I am from Florida now.  Boo!

The number in the black box is the “wait time” for rides.  These constantly update and are current.  You can click on each ride or restaurant and receive more information.

Next, I’ll show you the Dining Tab.  You will see a list of Dining locations near you.  Notice the dollar signs?  Also, the GPS will point you to the restaurant you choose.

If you click on a restaurant, you can check out the menu.

I didn’t show you in the picture above, but a photo of each restaurant is provided so you can recognize it easier.

I hope you enjoy the application!  We had an awesome time and look forward to returning again!
