I had something funny happen to me yesterday.  I was on my way to meet a friend and her girls at the pool when she sent me a text to bring Ibuprofen.     When I arrived I found out she had a headache so I asked if I could just pray for her.

I placed my hand on her head and said, “I curse you headache and pain and I command you to go in Jesus’ Name.”  Then I asked if it was gone.  She said, “It is better, but not completely gone.”  So I did the same thing a couple more times.  Each time the pain lessened.   Meanwhile her daughters were watching.   It is funny to me because this is such a part of my life that I don’t think twice about it — my daughter doesn’t either, however one of my friend’s daughters said, “What are you doing?  That was creepy!”   I laughed and said, “Creepy?  I was praying for your Mom.  That is what we are supposed to do as Christians.”

I began to share with her some of the miracles I have seen with my own eyes and my daughter chimed in, “I have seen legs grow and backs healed, etc …”

Come on church.   Don’t wait until you are at the altar to pray for someone.

David Dodd, founder and leader of Awakened Love Ministries, said I would be praying for people in the market place and there would be healings in the grocery store.  Ha.  Well, we ALL need to be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever we go don’t we?

Back to this cutie who said it was “Creepy” — which is funny because I didn’t pray some long religious prayer or even close my eyes.  It was quick and to the point …  She needs a miracle with her adrenal glands that aren’t functioning YET.  But in Jesus’ Name, I am telling them to awaken and function as they should.   Would you stand in agreement that she walk in the healing that Jesus purchased for us all?

After loving on this little one, I asked her if she loved Jesus and she said she did.  I reminded her that He instructed us to lay hands on the sick and that I was just doing what He asked of us.

Oh Father, use that beautiful girl for Your Kingdom and let her healing be a catalyst to catapult her into expecting miracles, signs, and wonders as she loves You.

Isaiah 53:5
But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.

Luke 4:40
At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying His hands on each one, He healed them.

If you would like to learn more about the healing Jesus has purchased for you, I highly recommend Andrew Wommack’s ministry.  He has some great teaching materials and will be in Durham, NC July 17th.  You can find information about this meeting by clicking HERE.

God loves you!

Have a blessed Wednesday everyone!
