I created this photo on Wednesday.  I was inspired by some lyrics I heard while attending soaking on Tuesday.

Yesterday, I was listening to more music by this artist and she sang about chains falling off and being under her feet.  This immediately gave me the visual of a woman standing on a pile of chains.  Almost like a mountain of chains.  The chains lifted her up so high that she could see into the heavenlies!

Oh how I wish I could paint what I saw in the Spirit!

There is so much truth in what I saw.

Each chain that weighs upon our soul keeps us from soaring in the heavenlies.  How can we leave this ground with the weight of sin, shame, lies, … bondage holding us back?

Be encouraged friends, each chain that drops off and falls under your feet becomes the material that lifts you up higher!

Oh, there are treasures to be found and things to be seen!

1 Corinthians 2:9
However, as it is written, “No eye has seen,
    no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
    what God has prepared for those who love Him”

Maybe you are in the place where you feel bound to the earth.   Perhaps you are still in the process of having chains broken off, but have heart — FREEDOM is coming!

Doesn’t God’s Word promise that If we seek Him, we will find Him?

Deuteronomy 4:29
But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Proverbs 8:17
I love those who love Me, and those who seek Me find Me.

I’m telling you the truth, the expression on the Lord’s face when He saw me the other day (if you missed that, click here) still sticks in my mind.  His absolute JOY and EXCITEMENT made time stand still!  I know He has that same excitement for each of us!  He wants us to seek Him and to find Him.

He wants to be found by us!

Isaiah 42:1-7
Behold my Servant, Whom I uphold, My elect in Whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice and right and reveal truth to the nations.

He will not cry or shout aloud or cause His voice to be heard in the street.

A bruised reed He will not break, and a dimly burning wick He will not quench; He will bring forth justice in truth.

He will not fail or become weak or be crushed and discouraged till He has established justice in the earth; and the islands and coastal regions shall wait hopefully for Him and expect His direction and law.

Thus says God the Lord—He Who created the heavens and stretched them forth, He Who spread abroad the earth and that which comes out of it, He Who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it:

I the Lord have called You [the Messiah] for a righteous purpose and in righteousness; I will take You by the hand and will keep You; I will give You for a covenant to the people [Israel], for a light to the nations [Gentiles],

To open the eyes of the blind, to bring out prisoners from the dungeon, and those who sit in darkness from the prison.

Isn’t this beautiful?  Jesus will not break us when we are bruised.  He will not quench the light burning within us no matter how dim.  He gives us breath … spirit … light … sight … and freedom!

Yes, there are mountains in our life.  Some are created by circumstances in which we have no control.  But what will we do with those mountains?  Are they going to trip us?  Block us?  Stop us?  Or will we command the forces that stand in the way of what God has for us to BOW to the Name of Jesus and be cast away from us?

Each layer of healing will fall to the ground and become another level up.

Don’t misunderstand what I am saying.  When we accept Jesus as Savior, we are HIS.   By faith, our soul became connected to the Vine and we (as branches) receive our life source from Him.  But that is just the beginning of working through all of the stuff that has tainted our hearts, our thoughts, our beliefs, and our perceptions.  It is a process — especially if you had years of rebellion like me.  We unknowingly (sometimes knowingly) open many doors that we must work with Jesus to shut.  No, they aren’t immediately or instantly shut.  Oh how I wish it worked that way!

We have to RENEW our minds with God’s Word.

Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

God in His Sovereign wisdom knows what lessons are to be learned in the process.  The healing process.

Be encouraged friends.  Each chain that falls is only taking you HIGHER!

Do you hear them clanking as they hit the ground?

Declare that those mountains will LIFT you up and not TRIP you up!  You will have a much clearer view from the top of the chains you release!
